Dan Pawson is a Senior Director at HLG. His work focuses on building advocacy coalitions on public health issues, largely within the Alzheimer’s and brain health space. Dan helps clients tell a compelling story that highlights the urgency of their work, builds networks of allies, and puts them in the center of their audience’s priorities.
Prior to HLG, Dan spent over a decade at a global health public affairs firm, leading international advocacy and communications campaigns on issues like polio eradication, neglected tropical diseases, and global health R&D. He then spent a year in the Office of the President in the Gates Foundation’s Global Policy & Advocacy division before coming to HLG.
Dan was at one point the third-biggest winner in Jeopardy! history, now one of the top 20 or so, and slides further down the leaderboard every year.
